For Tenants
Use the Browse Properties page to search by state, city, locality, property type, BHK, and rent range. You can apply multiple filters to narrow down results. Up to 3 localities can be selected at once.
Click on any property listing and submit an inquiry using the inquiry form. The owner will review your inquiry and accept or decline it. Once accepted, you can message the owner directly through our messaging system.
The owner's phone number visibility depends on the property's contact privacy setting. It may be visible immediately, after sending an inquiry, after acceptance, or not at all - as set by the owner.
Click the "Save Property" button on any listing page. Saved properties appear in your Dashboard under the Saved Properties tab.
Yes. You can send inquiries to as many properties as you like. Each inquiry is independent.
Once an owner accepts your inquiry, you will receive a notification. You can then message the owner directly to discuss the property further and arrange a visit.
For Owners & Agents
Log in as an owner or agent, then go to Post Property from the navbar. Fill in the property details, upload photos, and submit. Your listing will be reviewed by our admin team and published once approved.
Most listings are reviewed and approved within 24 hours. You will receive a notification once your listing is approved or if it is rejected with a reason.
Yes. Go to My Listings, click Edit on the property you want to update. Changes will be reflected immediately for active listings.
Go to Inquiries from the navbar. You will see all incoming inquiries with the tenant's details and message. You can Accept or Decline each inquiry. Accepting unlocks the tenant's contact details and enables messaging.
Yes. From My Listings or the property detail page, use the Deactivate button to temporarily hide your listing. You can reactivate it anytime.
When creating a listing, you can control when your phone number is visible to tenants: immediately to everyone, after inquiry is sent, only after inquiry is accepted, or never. This is set per property.
Account & Privacy
Go to Profile → Change Password section, or visit Settings → Change Password. Enter your current password and set a new one.
You control this via Phone Privacy in your Profile settings. Options are: Everyone, Accepted Only (default - only owners whose inquiry you've accepted), or Nobody.
Go to Settings → Delete Account. Enter your current password to confirm. All your data including listings, inquiries, and messages will be permanently removed.
No. Your email is masked for all non-admin users. Only the AapnaHome admin team can see your full email address.
Go to your Profile or Dashboard to find your unique referral code. Share it with friends. When they sign up using your code, you earn referral points.
Support & Technical
Open the listing and click the "Report Listing" button. Fill in the reason and submit. Our team will review the report and take appropriate action.
Go to Support from the navbar or user menu. Click "New Ticket", fill in the subject, category, and description, and submit. Our team typically responds within 24–48 hours.
On the login page, click "Forgot password?" below the password field. Enter your registered email address and we will send you a reset link valid for 1 hour.
New listings require admin approval before they appear publicly. If your listing has been submitted but not yet approved, it will show as "Pending" in My Listings. If it was rejected, you will receive a notification with a reason.
Yes. AapnaHome is fully responsive and works on all modern mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is on our roadmap.
